The mobile part of the application installed in smartphones automates image capture and transmission. This user-friendly solution dramatically reduces the effort and time necessary to obtain, assort and deliver the images created outside of the office.
Creating And Sending New Record
For experienced MDL user the whole process of creating image, attaching data and sending the created file takes less than 1 minute.
To create and send a new record is as easy as never before. Just by selecting the MDL icon on your smartphone, selecting Options, New record and choosing to make a New image or New video you can create your desired image or video using your inbuilt camera with all the options and features your smartphone offers to you.
Consequently the cell phone will automatically register your exact location (GPS) and attach it to your file together with the current date and time. The Name and Keyword features enable you to define your image and make it more accessible on the MDL server (both Name and Keyword may be entered manually; automated to prevent a human error; or copied from your last image taken in case you create more records at the same location). Another important feature is the possibility of attaching to your record a Note that can consist of up to 4000 characters to provide you with enough space to communicate with your colleagues or customers.
At this point you have the option of sending the created file (photo + accompanying data) to the server or to continue on your next task and send this file when more convenient.
To ensure that you send a file with the desired quality you can view and edit the created record. Consequently just by selecting the Send command and choosing access point you will deliver the created record - image + attached information to the MDL server.
Take Control Of Your Work
To bring an added value and to increase work productivity the MDL Courier allows you to have a perfect overview of the work being done. Thus already on the introductory screen you have the possibility to see and review the images created and not send yet, and in order to provide you with your internal database also images already sent.
